AKET4.0 (Eyecolor estimation from DNA file)

This  app classifies eyes into 6 categories based on raw DNA data. The categories are Brown, Dark brown, Blue, Blue with an amber ring in the center, Green, and Hazel. 

  The data used for the algorithm was collected by me from OpenSnp, and features a total of 522 people's data. 

What this app will give you:

1. The best eyecolor estimate anybody can give you based on raw data

2. Vahaduo coordinates that can be used to compare your eyecolor genes with various world populations on https://vahaduo.github.io/vahaduo/

How to run:

Step 1: Download the eyes.jpg file and save it in some folder, preferably an empty one

Step 2: Download the AKET4.0.exe file and save it in that same folder

Step 3:Insert your DNA file in that folder

Step 4: Run the .exe application, and enter your file name with the format (.txt or .csv)

Step 5: Wait a bit, on my laptop it takes about 20 seconds, for you it might be quicker or slower
